Waja Plans SAR 10 Million Sukuk Issuance to Support Capital Expansion

WAJA Co. has announced its intention to issue SAR-denominated sukuk worth SAR 10 million through a private placement under its existing sukuk program. The issuance will be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions to be detailed in the issuance prospectus.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the sukuk issuance is aimed at supporting its capital expansion plans, as part of its broader strategy to strengthen its financial position and fund future growth initiatives.

WAJA has appointed Sukuk Financial Co. as the sole arranger for establishing the sukuk program and for issuing and offering the sukuk. Through the arranger, the company will obtain the required regulatory approvals prior to the offering.

The company confirmed that all necessary approvals will be secured from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) before the sukuk is offered to investors.

According to data available from Argaam, WAJA recently announced that it has withdrawn its request to transfer from the Nomu-Parallel Market to the Main Market (TASI), citing the need to complete certain requirements related to the transition process.
