GAIP InsureTek Dubai 2026 opened on 3 November at Majlis Al Salam, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai,
bringing together leading insurance executives, technology innovators, policymakers, regulators and
industry professionals for two days of strategic discussions and collaboration on the future of
insurance.
Taking place as part of Dubai Future Finance Week, the international conference is being held under
the theme Reimagining Insurance. Together. The event reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for
financial services and innovation while providing an international platform for advancing the
insurance and InsurTech ecosystem.

The opening day featured five industry presentations and three high-level panel discussions,
bringing together prominent industry leaders to examine the opportunities, challenges and
technological developments reshaping the global insurance landscape.
The three panel discussions addressed critical areas of industry transformation:

Officer at Orient Insurance; Faisal Shoaib, CIO at MetLife Gulf; Mohamed Seghir, CEO at Hayah
Insurance; and Yousuf Amin, Advisory Director GAIP.
The discussion examined the Middle East’s evolving insurance landscape, regional growth
opportunities, technology adoption and the strategic priorities that will define the industry’s next
decade.
2. Beyond the AI Hype: Building the Next Generation of Intelligent Insurance
Moderated by Renjit Philip and Vidya Veerapandian, Co-founders and Podcast Hosts at FS Brew, the
panel brought together Anas Mistareehi, CEO of eSanad; Sreedhar Suragouni, Group Chief
Operations and Technology Officer at Sukoon Insurance; Dr. Mutaz Al-Debei Al-Hyassat, Founder &
CEO of Pure Analytica; Rahul Prasad, CEO of HDFC International Life and Re; and Aon Raza, Head of
Transformation at Al Wathba Insurance.
The panel explored how artificial intelligence is moving beyond industry hype to deliver practical
applications across insurance operations, decision-making, customer experience and intelligent
insurance solutions.
3. Longevity Panel: Exploring the Future of Longevity, Preventive Healthcare, and How Innovation
in Health and Life Insurance Can Support Healthier, Longer Lives
Moderated by Anand Singh, Legal Director at Al Tamimi & Company, the discussion featured H.E.
Saleh Al Hashimi, Patron of GAIP; Dr. Raza Siddiqui, Chairman of Arabian Life Longevity HealthTech;
Prof. Adrian Kennedy, Chairman of Active Life at India, UAE & KSA; Hammad Khan, CEO of Sukoon
Insurance; and Ali Zaidi, Non-Executive Director at GAIP.
The discussion examined the growing importance of longevity, preventive healthcare and innovation
in health and life insurance, highlighting the opportunities to build more proactive, sustainable and
customer-focused healthcare and insurance ecosystems.
Together, the day’s discussions underscored the importance of technological advancement, industry
collaboration and forward-looking strategies in strengthening the global insurance ecosystem.
