DIB Accelerates Digital Transformation Through Strategic Partnerships with HCLTech and Finshape

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has taken a major step forward in its digital transformation journey through new strategic partnerships with HCLTech and Finshape. These collaborations reflect DIB’s commitment to strengthening its leadership in Shariah-compliant innovation and advancing ethical, AI-driven digital banking solutions. Together, the partnerships aim to create a future-ready, intelligent, and customer-centric financial ecosystem that aligns technology with the principles of Islamic finance.

Announced during GITEX GLOBAL 2025, DIB’s partnership with HCLTech focuses on accelerating the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the bank’s operations. By leveraging HCLTech’s advanced AI capabilities and advisory expertise, DIB will integrate AI into its key processes to deliver more personalized customer experiences, improve governance and compliance, and enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Obaid Al Shamsi, Chief Operating Officer at DIB, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating: “Our partnership with HCLTech marks a pivotal step forward in realising our vision of an AI-driven future that enhances value for our customers, empowers our people, and strengthens our governance frameworks.”
