The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has reported strong investor confidence in its latest monthly Sukuk Al Salam issuance, with the issue being significantly oversubscribed.
The offering, which sought to raise BD 50 million, attracted substantial investor interest, receiving total subscriptions valued at BD 68.961 million.
The 91-day sukuk, which starts on October 8, 2025, and is set to mature on January 7, 2026, offers an expected return of 5.02%. This reflects a slight decrease from the 5.10% return offered in the previous issue on September 10.
These short-term Sukuk Al Salam are issued by the CBB as a representative of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This oversubscribed offering is officially designated as issue No. 294 (BH0007DA1424) within the short-term Sukuk Al Salam series.
