MNRB Holdings Bhd Shares Jump 22 Sen on Stronger Takaful and Reinsurance Earnings

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 — MNRB Holdings Bhd emerged as the top gainer in early trading today after posting stronger financial results for the third quarter ended Dec 31, 2025 (3Q FY2026).

As of 10:20 am, the company’s shares climbed 22 sen to RM2.68, with 1.71 million shares traded, reflecting positive investor sentiment following the earnings announcement.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MNRB reported a net profit of RM150.97 million for 3Q FY2026, up from RM115.86 million recorded in the same quarter last year. The improved performance was driven by stronger contributions across its core business segments.

Revenue for the quarter rose to RM973.93 million compared with RM826.38 million previously, supported by growth in the general takaful, reinsurance, retakaful, and family takaful segments. The increase reflects solid operational momentum and the benefits of the group’s diversified portfolio.

On its outlook, MNRB said it remains optimistic about its long-term prospects. The company plans to leverage strategic diversification and disciplined underwriting practices to further strengthen financial performance.

It added that continued innovation and adaptability will be key to navigating global economic pressures while capturing emerging and untapped opportunities, particularly in overseas markets.
