Etiqa Insurance Singapore has formed a strategic partnership with AIA Singapore to expand access to Shariah-compliant, values-based Takaful solutions across Singapore. The collaboration is aimed at making ethical financial protection and savings products more accessible, particularly for communities seeking faith-based options.
Under the agreement, Etiqa’s Family Takaful products will be distributed through AIA Singapore and AIA Financial Advisers, which has a network of more than 6,300 representatives. This wide distribution network is expected to enhance outreach and improve availability of Takaful solutions to a broader customer base.
According to Claudia Soh, Acting CEO of Etiqa Insurance Singapore, the partnership marks an important step in increasing access to Shariah-compliant protection and savings solutions. She noted that leveraging AIA’s strong presence and established network will help scale Takaful offerings more effectively and reach previously underserved segments of the market.
Alvin Fu, Chief Distribution Officer of AIA Singapore, highlighted that the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to inclusivity. By combining Etiqa’s expertise in Shariah-compliant products with AIA’s professional advisory network, the partnership aims to serve more customers, address protection gaps, and support families in achieving better financial security.
Overall, the partnership reinforces both companies’ commitment to inclusive and responsible insurance while responding to the growing demand for values-driven financial planning solutions in Singapore.
