PETALING JAYA: Lagenda Properties Bhd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Lagenda Capital, has completed the issuance of RM475 million in nominal value of Sukuk Wakalah under its established Sukuk Wakalah Programme.
According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the issuance was completed on September 17, 2026. The proceeds will be utilized for Shariah-compliant inter-company financing, including funding acquisitions, working capital requirements, and other purposes associated with the company’s affordable housing development activities.
The Sukuk Wakalah is secured and unrated and will not be listed on Bursa Malaysia or any other stock exchange.
Alliance Islamic Bank Bhd and AmInvestment Bank Bhd are serving as the joint principal advisers, joint lead arrangers, and joint lead managers for the programme. Alliance Islamic Bank and AmBank Islamic Bhd are acting as joint Shariah advisers.
Meanwhile, Lagenda Properties reported a year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, reaching RM56.57 million, compared with RM45.24 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
