Maybank Indonesia Syariah and Muslim Pro Launch Amanah Pro, a Digital Islamic Banking Service Powered by audax

JAKARTA, Indonesia – July 8, 2026: Maybank Indonesia Syariah, in collaboration with Muslim Pro and powered by audax Financial Technology, has launched Amanah Pro, a digital Islamic banking service that enables Indonesian Muslims to access Shariah-compliant financial services directly through the Muslim Pro mobile application. The launch marks the first major milestone of the partnership between Maybank Indonesia Syariah and audax, established 18 months ago.

Amanah Pro integrates Islamic banking services into Muslim Pro, one of the world’s most widely used Muslim lifestyle applications with more than 190 million downloads globally. Through the platform, users can open a Shariah-compliant Hajj savings account within minutes using a fully digital and paperless process, significantly reducing the time traditionally required to complete account registration.

Indonesia, home to more than 240 million Muslims, is the world’s largest Muslim-majority country and continues to be one of the fastest-growing markets for Islamic digital finance. Amanah Pro is designed to improve financial inclusion by making Shariah banking services more accessible through a platform that millions of users already rely on for prayer times, the Holy Qur’an, Qibla direction, Islamic content, and other faith-based services.

The platform provides a seamless digital banking experience by allowing customers to open accounts without visiting a branch or submitting paper documents. It also integrates Islamic financial services into users’ daily digital activities while supporting long-term Hajj planning through a dedicated Shariah-compliant savings account. The solution is built on audax Financial Technology’s digital banking infrastructure, enabling secure, scalable, and regulated banking services.

Muslim Pro continues to serve its global community through a wide range of Islamic lifestyle features, while Maybank Indonesia Syariah offers comprehensive Shariah-compliant financial products, including savings accounts, Hajj registration support, financing, zakat, infaq, sedekah, and Islamic wealth management services. Together, the three organizations aim to expand access to digitally enabled Islamic financial services for Muslim communities.

Commenting on the launch, Nafees Khundker, CEO and Group Managing Director of Muslim Pro, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to supporting Muslims not only in their daily worship but also in achieving important life goals such as preparing for Hajj through trusted digital financial services.

Mohamad Yasin Abdullah, CEO of Maybank Islamic Berhad, said the collaboration forms part of the bank’s strategy to strengthen its leadership in global Islamic banking by delivering innovative, value-based, and purpose-driven financial solutions. Steffano Ridwan, President Director of Maybank Indonesia, added that Amanah Pro demonstrates how digital innovation and Shariah principles can work together to strengthen Indonesia’s Islamic finance industry.

Kelvin Tan, CEO of audax Financial Technology, highlighted Indonesia’s significant potential for Islamic digital finance, stating that embedding Shariah-compliant banking services into trusted digital platforms makes financial services more accessible and convenient for customers. He noted that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to delivering reliable and customer-focused Islamic banking solutions.

The launch of Amanah Pro reflects the broader regional trend toward embedded finance, where banking services are increasingly integrated into everyday digital platforms. By combining faith, technology, and Islamic finance, the initiative aims to make Shariah-compliant banking more accessible while supporting the evolving financial needs of Indonesia’s Muslim population.
